A simple directory with a small data footprint.
What this site does
This version provides reading, local filtering and submission forms. A comparison shortlist stores selected public tool identifiers and names in your browser so it survives page navigation; use Clear selection to remove it. It has no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Forms send messages to our server for review; filtering runs in your browser.
Submissions
We store the information you submit, including any contact email, in a private review database. It is used to assess tool suggestions, verify reported issues or handle your enquiry. It is not automatically published. Please do not submit passwords or sensitive personal information. Submission alerts sent through our transactional email provider include only the submission type, reference, time and review link; your message and contact details stay in the private review database.
Abuse prevention
Short-lived form sessions and pseudonymous rate-limit counters help prevent spam and duplicate submissions. We do not store raw IP addresses in submission records. Review actions are logged for accountability. Submission records are retained for editorial review and follow-up. You can request their removal using the contact form; technical rate-limit records expire separately.
Your message
To request a correction or removal of a submission, contact us through the contact form and include the submission reference. Contact details are used for follow-up, not added to a mailing list.
Hosting
The hosting provider may process technical request information to deliver and secure the site. This statement is not a claim that the hosting infrastructure keeps no logs.
